Our Beginnings
Uranda
Martin Exeter
(also known as Martin Cecil)
In September of 1932, Lloyd Arthur Meeker experienced a personal awakening that we mark as the initiation of the Emissary program. He went on to teach and write, known by those who joined him as Uranda. Uranda was a visionary who traveled throughout much of the United States to share his passion with others. In 1945, he established a headquarters for the Emissaries at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. Martin Exeter led the Emissaries from Uranda’s passing, in 1954, until 1988.
